Preserving memories has always been important to me. I have boxes and boxes of photos that have been taken over the years. Since the digital age, I have digital photos stored everywhere on my computer, on disks and on "the cloud."

Over the years I've tried to figure out a way to make the collection of photos more accessible to my family. So many loved ones have died. My father passed away when I was in my early 20s. His mother died shortly after that. I never knew his father because he died before I was born. My mother's family is gone, with the exception of my mother, her sister, and brother.

I decided to write a blog for my family and to my family. I hope that as time passes, they will want to contribute their stories and photos so that their memories never die and can be passed on to their children and grandchildren.

I have been blessed with five kids. You will notice the name of the blog is ramabradley.com. My kids' names are Ryan, Ashley, Megan, Adrienne and Bradley (not birth order). The first letters of the first four names spell Rama followed by Bradley.

Not only will you get to meet my mother, but you'll get to meet my kids and their kids. This blog will be about anything and everything. It will be about the things I like and dislike, include favorite recipes and have many, many photos.

I hope my family will treasure this effort and I hope you will be inspired to preserve your family's precious memories.
